We always have volunteer opportunities for working outside in the landscape or on the farm. Inside, our office staff needs help with clerical duties, greeting visitors, and working with residents. And there are many opportunities to just become a friend for our neighbors in need.

The Backbone of Eden Village

Relationship and community are a key part of the solution to homelessness. We believe that we should know the name and story of the person we’re trying to help. Each resident of Eden Village of Tulsa has a supportive Home Team consistent of 4-6 people from the surrounding Tulsa, OK area that will promise to meet monthly and ‘do life’ with that resident. There is a short educational program required to clearly explain the process, which includes no material gifts, rather just a supportive relationship. Basically, we’re asking for a dedicated, consistent group to become the family our new neighbors have not had.
